Hamta Pass is a stunning trek which passes through the lush green meadows, waterfalls and picturesque mountains as well as the deserts of Lahaul Valley. All these variations in the landscape make the trek different than other treks. The trek starts from manali.
On arrival in Manali, you chek in to our camp site in Manali, Take rest for a while and then proceed to a sightseeing trip with one of our team members. It would be a village tour to get you acclimatized. Enjoy your evening at campsite while dancing with light music and having your dinner at the camp site and have a good night sleep in the comfy tents.
After Breakfast, we will drive to Chika. We will reach Chika via Jobri, Prerni Village and Aleo Nallah stream. The gentle and lush green slopes of Chika will be our base camp for today.
Today, we will start our Trek from Chhika to Balu Gera . Balu Gera means “Bears camp”. Brown bears use the caves in this area to hibernate in winter. Overnight in tents
A strenuous trek over Hampta Pass to Sia Goru provides stunning picturesque scenery . You can see Deo Tibba and Indrasan Peak of the great Himalayas. This used to be the trade rout from China by Spiti to kullu and other parts of the country. Overnight stay in the tents.
Today’s trek will be a comparatively relaxed one after the previous day trek. Chhatru is a picturesque village surrounded by meadows and river Chandra flowing nearby.You are picked up of from the end point of the trek at Chhatru and A 3 hours drive will take you back to Manali. You will have an option to stay at our campsite with additional charges for the night or you may choose stay of your own.
