After breakfast, drive to Khajjiar to spend the day in what is called India’s ‘mini-Switzerland’.Khajjiar is among the 160 places in the world that was officially given the title because of itsresemblance to the lovely landscapes in Switzerland. The lush green meadows are aphotographer’s delight. Khajjiar Lake is situated at the centre of the plains. Back in Dalhousie andovernight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Amritsar. Check-in at the hotel.In the evening, visit the India-Pakistan border at Wagah. Watch the ‘Beating the Retreat’ceremony where soldiers of both countries bring down their respective national flags in theirunique styles. As the sun goes down, the air is filled with the sound of nationalistic slogans andpatriotic songs. Return to the hotel & overnight stay in Amritsar.
