Kasol Kheerganga and Tosh are the three most beautiful destinations of Parvati Valley. If you have three days to stay in this valley, this is the most suitable package for you.
The Trek to Kheerganga encompasses everything- walking through rivers, waterfalls, holding on to dear life on narrow walkways, apple orchards – you name it. If you’re a regular hiker then this one is a dream to do. One of the most beautiful treks, so picturesque that you feel an impulse to reach for your camera or pinch yourself hard to make sure it’s real.
The amazing landscapes, waterfalls and the alpine meadows are bound to make you stop and feel it and soak it in! Trek to KheerGanga from Tosh is 15 km and from Barshaini 12 Km. As soon as you reach KheerGanga, All your tiredness will be washed away with a sight of the mystical hot springs of KheerGanga. 10 minutes into the pool and you’ll be tripping because of the sulphur fumes.
Arrive Kasol and check-in at our campsite. Relax for a while at our camp. After you get fresh and take a little rest, we will start our trek to Chalal village. En route Chalal, explore the ‘Little Amsterdam’, the lanes of Kasol lined with vibrant souvenir shops and Israeli cafes. A two-hour walk will take you to the small, enticing village of Chalal which is a popular hub for Trance and crazy parties held deep in the forest. Cradled in the conifer dense forest, the village gives you much scenic beauty to admire, right beside the wildly flowing Parvati River. After spending a wonderful time in Chalal, get back to your campsite in the evening. Enjoy dancing around the bonfire, as you have a scrumptious dinner.
Wake up to a lovely sunrise and feel the warmth of nature around you. Freshen up and after breakfast, drive to our campsite at Tosh, situated at a height of 7,874 feet! It lies at the heart of the Parvati Hydel Project, surrounded by mighty mountains. The valley’s last village, Tosh is said to have been blessed by Lord Shiva. So much so that the village priest claims to have had visions of the lord and Parvati during snowfall! After leaving your luggage at our campsite, we will go for a waterfall trek. Embark on your way to Tosh along the most picturesque routes that have many gradual inclines and declines. At the waterfall, sit back and relax to your heart’s content as you listen to the soothing sounds of the gushing water. Let the night be filled with fun and laughter in the wilderness. Make sure you do not litter in the natural surroundings of the village and also respect the culture of the locals. After spending a wonderful time at the waterfall, we will come back to our campsite and have a hot dinner. Overnight stay will be in the tents at our campsite
Today after breakfast we will start our trek early in the morning. We will begin your trek to Kheerganga from here. Its a 12 km trek which takes 4 to 5 hours depending on your speed and stamina. The trek offers some beautiful sights which will rejuvenate your mind. We will visit Shiva Temple, Rudra Naag Waterfall and lots of interesting rock formations on the way. You can spend the evening at your own leisure near the bonfire and after dinner relax by the camp.
