Bhrigu Lake trek is one of the best treks in Manali that presents fabulous views of this emerald valley. It offers you a chance of meandering through the Rohtang Pass, spotting the divine Bhrigu Lake. The trek portrays the lovely hill station of Kullu Valley at its best, and is sufficient enough to keep you busy in capturing the picturesque landscape throughout the trail. This trek gives you a series of unforgettable memories, which you will love to cherish all your life.
Arrive at Manali Base Camp on your own. We take you for an acclimatization walk. Orientation regarding the trek will be given in the evening and will cover important information like how to pack your rucksack, walking technique and general information about the trek route. We will stay the night at Manali Base Camp.
The trail ascends steeply through the dense forest of pine and further Himalayan silver oak, walnut, chestnut and Himalayan silver birch. Camp right in the middle of the forest in a small meadow.
Trail ascends through the last line of the trees into the wide open meadows of Panduropa, excellent view of the mountains cape is enfolded to wards all sides. The name of the meadow (Panduropa) is derived from a legend that the Pandavas of Mahabharata cultivated rice fields here. From here one can have the breathtaking view of two famous summits of Manali (Deo Tibba (6001 Mts.) and Inderasan (6230 Mts.). Further to east lie the desolate range of Spiti and Kinnaur. Further Gradual, ascent to the Bhrigu Lake through the meadows. Lake has great religious importance to local folks. This place provides, a magnificent 360 degrees view as series of mountain ranges stretch in front of you including Dhauladhar, pir panjal, Chandra Bhaga Range and distant Spiti Range. Return back to Camp at Moridugh.
