Beas Kund Trek is an easy trek to a beautiful lake, situated at approx (3700m)the source of Beas river, on this Beas Kund Trek trekkers can see groups of peaks and very nearby Beas Kund glacier. Itinerary

Day 2: Manali - Dhundi - Bakrathach (21 KM Drive - 6 KM Trek)

Today after Breakfast and briefing, drive to Dhundi. Dhundi is the starting point of Beas Kund Trek. From Dhundi we will start our trek to Bakarthach. After trekking for 4-5 hours, we will reach our campsite. Bakarthach is a base camp of Beas Kund trek which is a very beautiful place just above the tree line at an altitude of 10800 ft. The peaks visible en route are Deo Tibba Peak, Indrasan peak and The 7 sisters are in the background as well. In the afternoon you reach Bakarthach for a late lunch. You can collect dry wood twigs for Campfire, after dinner overnight stay at Bakarthach under the million stars.

Day 02: Bakarthatch - Beas Kund (3700M) - Bakarthatch (6 KM ) (6-7 Hours)

Wake-up early in the morning to see the beautiful sunrise at the Himalayas, After breakfast, we will start our trek to Beas Kund, The trail again climbs steeply towards the beautiful glaciated lake of Beas Kund which is also one of the sources of the River Beas. Get close views of Hanuman Tibba, Friendship, and other famous peaks of Manali Himalayas. After spending a Great Time near Beas Kund group will start trekking back to our base camp. Overnight stay in Bakarthach Camp.

Day 3: Bakarthatch - Dhundi - Solang Valley (8 KM Drive- 6 KM Trek)

Early in the morning After breakfast, we start trek to Dundhi after 4 hours trek we will reach Solang Valley then end of our with Lifetime Memories.

Day 01: Arrival at our Manali Base Camp

Arrive at Manali Base Camp on your own. We take you for an acclimatization walk. Orientation regarding the trek will be given in the evening and will cover important information like how to pack your rucksack, walking technique and general information about the trek route. We will stay the night at Manali Base Camp.

Included/Excluded

  • Tents on twin sharing, sleeping bag and carry mat.
  • Nutritious, high calorie Veg. food will be served.
  • Guide, cook and camp helpers.
  • Any expenses of personal nature like phone call etc.
  • Any food and accommodation not mentioned above.
  • All road head to road head transport will be on actuals.

FAQs

Is it possible that the trek route may change?
Yes, Its is quite possible that we have to change our route to weather or some other conditions. There may be many unforseen circumstances which may force us to change the route. There may be a bad weather, inaccessibility through the mountain passess due to heavy snow, condition of the trail, physical fitness of the client, political or administrative restrictions or some other cause beyond human control.
What services will be provided during the Trek?
The group will be accompanied by a trained Mountain Guide with Certification from the Western Himalayan Mountaineering Institute Manali. Apart from this he must have experience of assisting treks in Himalayas as an assistant Guide at least for three years. He must be fully knowing the area as well the people Guides are trained to coordinate any evacuation during the emergency.

Kitchen team: – All our cooks and kitchen assistants are well trained and provide best food (Indian, Chinese, continental). They have gone through various training in terms of quality, variety and most important to maintain high standards of Hygiene.
What should I bring with me for the trek?
High ankle Trekking Shoes, water proof and wind proof heavy jacket, rain jacket, water proof trousers, gloves and trekking poles. In case you can't arrange any of these things, Please inform us in advance. We will arrange these things for you at a nominal charge.
