ITINERARY:

DAY-1: Welcome to Koh Samui
Arrive in Bangkok and take a 1 hour connecting flight to Koh Samui, known for its palm-fringed beaches, coconut groves and dense, mountainous rainforest, plus luxury resorts and posh spas . Spend the evening at leisure at your resort or on any of the white sand beaches.
DAY-2: Half day Jungle Safari Tour with lunch
Take a half-day Adventure Jungle Safari tour with Lunch. Visit the Magic Buddha Garden, swim beneath the Namuang waterfall and enjoy lunch with a mountain view. Spend the evening lazing around on the beach.

DAY-3: Angthong Marine Park Snorkeling & Kayaking tour with lunch
Take a full day Angthong Marine Park Snorkeling & Kayaking tour by big boat. Enjoy snorking in the crystal clear waters with its abundant coral reefs and sea life.
DAY-4: Day at leisure

This is your day at leisure in Koh Samui. Spend the day exploring the gorgeous beaches and the various water activities on offer. You can choose to take an evening cruise with dinner on your own or simply lie around on the beach under the moon or visit a local night club.

Check out of your resort for a transfer to the Koh Samui airport to take a flight to Bangkok and then a connecting flight back home.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
(1) Where will I find my transfer at the Suvarnabhumi Airport ?
(a) You will find our representative at Airport (EXIT C AFTER collect your luggage, GATE 10). Look for a representative from TBZ. Show him your voucher and he will hand over the requisite passes & tickets to you.
(2) What is the currency of Thailand ? What is the best place to buy foreign exchange ?
(a) Currency for Thailand is Baht. The best place to buy foreign exchange is any foreign exchange dealer. Preferably, take a prepaid forex card offered by leading banks such as SBI, ICICI, HDFC, Axis, IndusInd and use them at ATM machines and merchants across the world ! You can also buy such cards online.
(3) Will the tour guide / driver speak English fluently ?
(a) Yes, they can speak in English, but it may not be fluent. So please be patient while conversing with them.
(4) Is it advisable to take a local SIM Card ? If yes, what is the best place to buy it ?
(a) Most telecom companies offer free incoming calls from India while traveling abroad. So, taking a local SIM card is not as critical as it used to be. Do remember to switch off data on your cellphone while traveling abroad and use watsapp in wifi zones.
(5) What kind of vehicle will be used for transfers ?
(a) A sedan / 15 seater coach will be used for transfer to the hotel. During excursions, a sedan or a larger coach may be used as per availability.
(6) Are there any specific items that I am not allowed to carry to Thailand as per the immigration rules ?
(a) You should not be carrying items of illegal nature such as narcotics, weapons and the like. Many countries also prohibit food items, seeds and plants of any kind.
(7) What are the usual check in and check out times for hotels in Bangkok?
(a) In most hotels in Thailand, the check in time is 11 am and check out time is 2 pm. Early check ins and late check outs can be requested at the hotel and will be offered basis availability and the hotel policy.
(8) Should I carry adapters / sockets for local use ? If yes, what are the specifications ?
(a) Even if you do not need a voltage converter; you will probably require plug adapters. Most electrical outlets in Thailand will fit a plug with either two horizontally opposed flat pins or two round pins in the same configuration. It is advisable to carry a universal travel adaptor when traveling abroad.
(9) Are tickets for activities / excursions included in the cost of the package ?
(a) Tickets for all specified excursions are included and will be provided to you by the local representative. .
(10) Are there sufficient eating out options for vegeterians in Thailand ?
(a) There are quite a few vegeterian restaurants in Thailand. You can find them on google or on a food review site.
(11) If there is an excursion or activity that is not included in my package, what is the best place to buy it ?
You can buy it locally at the entrance. Alternatively, visit an activity site such as viator.com and buy it from there. It is advisable to buy the tickets for the excursions in advance to avoid last minute disspointments.
(12) What is the most popular cab sharing app in Thailand ?
(a) The most popular cab booking App in Thailand is Grabtaxi. Uber also operates in the Thai market.
(13) How does the visa process work ? Is it advisable to take Visa on Arrival or before leaving India ?
(a) Thai visa can be procured from India or after landing in Thailand (VoA) Most people take visa on arrival in Thailand. As long as you are carrying all the relevant papers, it takes less than an hour to procure the visa on arrival at the Swarnabhumi airport in Bangkok and costs 2000 INR / person.
(14) If I lose my passport in Thailand , what should I do ?
(a) Please connect with the local Indian embassey in Thailand and apply for a new passport. The Indian Embassey office in Bangkok is located at 46, Prasarnmitr, Sukhumvit, Soi 23, Bangkok.
(15) What is the local language of Thailand ? How do I say hello, thank you and goodbye in the local language ?
